BJC Corporate Health Services, the occupational medicine organization within BJC HealthCare, externally supports employers and employees of the St. Louis metropolitan area with three full-service BarnesCare clinics that provide expert physicals, surveillance, injury/exposure evaluation and treatment. Specialized services include contract management of work-related injury care for BJC hospitals, independent medical exams, traveler's health, on-site services, care management, toxicology support and two 24/7 hotlines for body substance exposures and emergency room coordination of work-related care. BJC Corporate Health Services provides occupational health support for BJC employees through on-site and virtual oversight including administration of workers' compensation. BJC Corporate Health Services also manages the BJC WellAware fitness center, which extends fitness opportunities with on-site classes at BJC hospitals throughout the metropolitan area. In 2010, BJC Corporate Health Services became the first and only St. Louis occupational medicine provider quality-certified by the National Association of Occupational Health Providers.

The Business Partner, HR Strategy, is the local point of contact to associates and a consultant to management for HR-related needs and issues. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicating such needs proactively with the HR Department and management, continually aligning all business objectives in designated business units. The Business Partner, HR Strategy, formulates partnerships across the HR function, seeking to develop integrated solutions and deliver value-added service to management and associates that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

The University of Miami has an exciting opportunity for a talented and innovative human resources leader to oversee the daily operations of human resources at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Hospitals. The ideal candidate will provide HR and talent consulting/advising to the hospital executive teams, strategic and tactical support and expertise regarding labor relation matters. The Executive Director, HR, will partner with the hospital leadership teams to analyze and prioritize critical business challenges while providing HR recommendations in collaboration with HR leaders to ensure consistency within the organization. 

The position of Human Resources Business Partner is comparable in many ways to a human resources managerial position. Provide support to designated business units in their day-to-day operational needs as well as development of human resources strategies that support the unit's business strategic imperatives. Develop, participate in and implement a wide variety of HR programs and initiatives (e.g., compensation, workforce planning, organizational change and succession management) and act as a liaison to other human resources functions including staffing, compensation and learning & development. Consult with employees, leadership and line managers to address complex human resources issues. 

Provides leadership and direction in the development and/or enhancements of strategic initiatives that support the goal of attracting, sourcing, recruiting and delivering top talent to HFHS. Responsible for system-wide management and oversight of a team of recruitment professionals in leading the sourcing function, building and developing external relationships with colleges and affiliations and the development and execution of recruitment plans and strategies for various critical positions and pre-qualified talent pools for various positions. 

Plans, coordinates and directs day-to-day operations of human resources including training and development programs for the District.

The key accountabilities for the CHCS HR Director include: establish and implement HR programs that effectively communicate and support the organization's strategic vision; develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the organization's overall business objectives; function as a strategic business advisor to the leadership of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues; develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the strategic human capital needs; establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the organization; develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefit plans that are competitive and cost effective for the organization; develop, manage and coordinate learning skills and career development programs to satisfy the organization’s unique requirements; ensure compliance with regulations governing the organization and rules of accrediting bodies by continually monitoring the activities and initiating changes as required; participate in and make recommendations regarding any litigation involving the organization; initiate, develop and maintain cooperative relationships with the business community and other regional health care providers.

Functions as a seasoned senior-level compensation professional providing high-level compensation consultative support including but not limited to innovative compensation design consultation with a strong ability to influence and build consensus with all key stakeholders and strategic program development and implementation in close partnership with HR business partner constituency along with those responsible for the compensation delivery model (i.e., Sutter Shared Services).
