The primary purpose of this position is to lead the overall learning and development function for the Cook County Health & Hospitals System (CCHHS) in a manner that supports the leadership team’s efforts to achieve the organization’s mission and operational goals including the identification, establishment and implementation of organizational policies that support the CCHHS mission and strategic direction as it relates to the learning and development needs of employees.

Duke University Health System has an exciting opportunity for an experienced human resources leader to provide strategic direction for human resource functions within Duke HomeCare and Hospice. The Divisional Chief Human Resources Officer will be an administrative leader reporting to the CEO of DHCH, which has approximately 250 clinical and support staff. HSHS is a health care system comprising 14 hospitals and numerous physician practices throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. The CPO will oversee all human capital strategy and operations for the division including Sacred Heart Hospital (314 beds), St. Joseph's Hospital (217 beds) and all other subsidiary operating entities which collectively include about 1,800 employees and generate revenues of over $280 million.

The Labor Relations Assistant is responsible for logging and monitoring grievances, discipline, external charges, contract disputes and other labor matters. Assists with preparing, coordinating and delivering labor relations and other related training. Provides clerical support to the Senior Labor and Employment Counsel and the Labor Relations team in preparation for and during all labor related proceedings including grievances, arbitrations, bargaining sessions and resolution meetings. Provides leadership and direction to Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations/Labor Relations for Sinai Health System. This position will monitor the employee/labor relations climate to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements, personnel policies and procedures and state and federal laws governing employment practices. Assists in developing and implementation of talent retention and employee labor relation strategies that are innovative, creative and meet the changing strategic needs and business plan of the Health System. In partnership with other HR leaders, the Director will be responsible for the following programs: staff recruitment and selection, executive recruitment, employee health services, modified work program, records management, worker’s compensation and unemployment compensation.

The Physician Recruiter will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Physician Recruiting Committee to facilitate the full life cycle recruitment process to include effectively utilizing sourcing techniques, screening applicants, presenting opportunities to candidates, presenting candidates for consideration, coordinating interview visits and conducting all related onboarding activities. This position will also support physician scheduling and other physician-related projects as assigned.
