Reading Hospital, the flagship facility of Reading Health System, is seeking an HR Business Partner to administer Employee Relations activities to include investigative actions, performance counseling, and face-to-face counseling and coaching with employees. This role serves as an employee and management advocate and focuses on achieving win-win outcomes and organizational policies while operating within appropriate Federal, State and Local employment laws; acts as a consultant and coach on developing organizational capabilities needed to implement strategy; and serves as an organizational development consultant in the areas of workforce planning, team performance, talent management, and development and organizational change.

The Human Resources Department strives to directly provide Kingwood Medical Center's employees and indirectly its patients with the highest quality of care/service through the performance improvement process.  Each and every individual with whom we have contact will be treated with dignity and respect at all times.  There is no patient contact for this department.

Provides senior level HR Leadership to facility senior officers, directors, staff and Board of directors.Ensures that facility has a formalized on-boarding and ongoing supervisory / management development process. Acts as Champion for the OD strategy, promoting/publicizing goals and accomplishments. Accepts responsibility for all recruitment, selection and retention of talented staff measured through vacancy rates and employee turnover. Demonstrates responsibility for developing and maintaining employee Workers Compensation Program including drug testing, injury prevention, modified work and attainment of premium credit. Accepts responsibility for deployment of corporate, division, market, and hospital HR initiatives.

Plans, organizes and directs day to day human resource functions. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and processes. Recommends new policies and procedures to affect improvements and efficiency of department. Abides by corporate, division & facility policies, as applicable. Serves as resource and liaison between division/corporate HR and facility.

The Director Human Resources plans, implements and directs the Human Resources functions of the Physician Service Center, as determined by the Regional HR Director.  The Director Human Resources serves as the primary resource for all aspects of human resources management including: regulatory compliance, employee relations, salary and wage administration, benefit administration, recruitment, employee development, and workers' compensation.

Provides strategic HR and talent consulting/advising to the executive team at an HCA facility (OR executives of HCA Lines of Business within a designated region), creating the desired workplace culture and an engaged and productive workforce through HCA's policies, programs and practices.

The Director of Human Resources plans, implements and directs the Human Resources functions that support the department, Administration and the facility. The HRD serves as the primary resource for all aspects of human resources management including regulatory compliance, employee relations, salary and wage administration, benefit administration, recruitment, employee development, employee health and workers' compensation.

Provides strategic HR and talent support to designated leaders and employees at one or more HCA facilities, creating the desired workplace culture and an engaged and productive workforce through HCA's policies, programs and practices.  This role serves as a senior member of the HR team and may be asked to take on more strategic activities with the senior team at the facility.

Serves as a point of service representative in the provision of human resources services to all constituencies within assigned departments. Provides specialized services in the disciplines of employment, physician and employee relations. This includes education, consultation, coaching, conflict mediation, and administration of human resources policies, procedures and practices.

Production support of CHOP’s HR Technology deployment including Core HR, Talent Management, Workforce Reporting / Analytics and Integrations to other applications. Analysis, design, configuration, qualification, documentation and roll-out of expanded HR Technology capabilities to meet enterprise requirements.

Under minimal supervision is engaged in highly confidential screening, tracking and evaluation of job applicants' records relative to the recruitment and selection process for the Cook County Health & Hospitals System. Utilizes the Automated Tracking Application System (ATAS) for applicant selection accuracy. Coordinates efforts with all areas of Human Resources to ensure strict adherence to policies and procedures, Employment Plan guidelines and other protocols. Consults with HR Leadership as well as other management to review policies and identify where changes are needed to ensure that established criteria relative to fair and objective hiring are met. May participate in the evaluation and testing of applicants, determine work priorities and train other staff in all operations relative to the recruitment and selections process.
