We are currently seeking an HR Director for our client, Mercy Health - Fairfield Hospital. This key position is responsible for implementing HR programs and services. Working collaboratively with operational leaders, you will ensure the organizational goals met and that HR systems and processes are consistent with supporting business needs. Specific areas of attention include ongoing operations management, program implementation, and compliance assurance related to legal, JCAHO and other arenas, as well as coaching and consulting on recruitment and retention strategies.

This position oversees organizational development programs, including leadership development, employee engagement programs, management of the learning management system, new employee and manager orientation, leadership coaching, change management strategies, assisting with Lean projects and cultural and behavioral standards. Interacts proactively with senior leaders to ensure that leader and employee development needs and practices align with the organization's strategic business imperatives. Participates in human resources planning, development, implementation and evaluation of HR strategies, programs and policies.

Job Qualifications: EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field required. Master's degree is preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Five (5) years of related Human Resources experience, with at least two (2) years working in a management role required. Proven success leading large-scale compensation-related projects and experience working with compensation and HRIS systems required. Exceptional database management skills and strong analytical skills are essential. LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: None OTHER CREDENTIALS: PHR/SPHR designation from the Society of Human Resource Management preferred. CCP certification from World at Work preferred.

Some of the duties of the PACU Manager will be to: Determine appropriate staffing levels to achieve organizational goals, participating in development of the unit budget, monitoring the units’ compliance with standards and supervision of nursing staff. Develops unit staffing plans. Assures staffing is the appropriate mix and number adequate to meet patient needs and relevant standards.
