The Chief Human Resources Officer serves as a key member of the A-Team and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer of the facility. Analyzes day to day information needs for various human resource functions. Researches, analyzes, designs, and maintains Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) computer applications in support of daily operations and projects Designs and generates standard and/or custom reports from the human resource information system (HRIS). Maintains the integrity of data in HRIS. Writes and maintains functional specifications for new or modified HRIS modules. Participates in various projects involving HRIS that may include project management on behalf of HRIS. Seeks ways to improve current processes in HRIS. Trains HRIS users in the proper application of codes and other data entry/reporting convention. Maintains close communications with the Information Technology department, particularly during system or process changes. Analyzes existing systems and applications and recommends modifications to enhance efficiency and achievement of service standards.

The position is located in the Pediatric Cardiology ICU unit. The Manager has comprehensive operational authority and responsibility for designated clinical area(s). The Labor & Deliver department is a 28 bed high risk antepartum and intrapartum unit including 14 LDR beds, 10 antepartum outpatient beds, and 4 preop/postop beds. We care for triage patients; ante-partum patients; intrapartum, and preop and postop patients. Our unit has approximately 6000 deliveries per year. The Enterprise Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the PACS system(s) which includes monitoring and troubleshooting issues in image workflow, archiving, routing, and data integrity. The Enterprise PACS Administrator supports all PACS users including managers, supervisors, radiologists, cardiologists, staff, and other imaging customers to ensure optimum functionality, availability, system responsiveness, and integrity of both on-line and archived data for the PACS.

The Director has line responsibility for the day to day operations of all outpatient revenue producing oncology services including infusion and radiation therapy. The Director works collaboratively with nursing administration and has dotted line responsibility for the inpatient oncology nursing units. The Director is responsible for strategic planning, marketing, and financial performance of the entire service line which includes medical and surgical oncology, of inpatient and outpatient oncology services as well as planning, development, and implementation of a continuum of nationally recognized oncology services. As the health system is a highly matrixed organization, the Director will have to work collaboratively with other corporate executives in the areas of human resources, marketing, legal and compliance, and finance. The Director will also have to rely on excellent organizational and communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with the senior management teams in each of the hospitals.

Monitors and evaluates ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS Level II coding as it relates to all outpatient coding, trains coding personnel. Communicates with and educates personnel from the following areas regarding charging and reimbursement issues related to APC»s and Medical Necessity: registration, billing finance, ancillary departments, physician, and physicians» offices. Supports medical center»s accounts receivable goals through timely and accurate outpatient coding. Completes assigned duties and other related tasks.
