McDermott International Inc. has the support of more than two-thirds of all its funded debt creditors for a restructuring transaction that will equitize nearly all the company’s funded debt, eliminating more than $4.6 billion of debt.

 

Brian Gilvary, BP CFO, has decided to retire from the company and step down from the board on June 30, 2020. He will be succeeded by Murray Auchincloss, currently CFO of BP’s Upstream segment, who will take up the role and join the board on July 1, 2020.

The UI 2020 Technical Track Committee is thrilled to announce that Donna Kocak, of L3HARRIS Technologies, will be leading a group of heavy-hitter subject matter experts on disruptive developments within the underwater industry. Donna has assembled leaders within the machine learning/autonomy space to discuss state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technologies for marine applications. This panel will focus on data analytics, vehicle control technologies for semi-autonomous to fully autonomous subsea applications, and the element of “trust” for human-machine teaming.
