DETAILS
Phil Newsum, Gary Chouest and Richard E. Fredricks invite you to attend a breakfast fundraising event in support of Congressman Elijah E. Cummings.  The breakfast is scheduled for Tuesday morning, November 27th just prior to the start of the American Salvage Association 2018 Annual Meeting at the Marriott Hotel, 555 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.  Please access the invitation here.

Congressman Cummings is Senior Member of the House Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation, current Ranking Member and soon to be Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Congressman Cummings will attend the opening session of the ASA Annual Meeting when he will be recognized for his leadership in initiating the promulgation of the OPA 90 Salvage and Marine Firefighting Regulations which have enhanced casualty response and the safety of life and property, and protection of the marine environment.

It is important that the salvage, diving and offshore sectors show support for the mission of the U. S. Coast Guard, the resolution of the current USCG Merchant Mariner Credential issue and secure broader and stronger responder immunity protection among other things.

Phil, Gary and Richard look forward to seeing you and other members of the maritime community at the breakfast table on November 27th so please RSVP direct to Carla Farrington via email: campaign@cummingsforcongress.com or via telephone: 1-443-934-3860.

This Information was sent to further the communication of all industry stakeholders. Safety is the primary concern of the ADCI. Remember: a real-time Job Hazard Analysis is important, but nothing can replace good common sense.

Sincerely,
