250-029 Balance Piston Replaced / 550-549 Balance Spacer Color Change/ New 250-065 Washer Required (Scuba Only)
These changes are to increase efficiency in the assembly and production process.
The obsolete parts are still effective and do not require changing out.
455 Balanced regulator P/N 505-455
• The Balance Spacer, P/N 550-549 will no longer be dark grey in color.
• The NEW COLOR will be BROWN. NO PART NUMBER CHANGE.
Balanced SCUBA regulator P/N 200-120
The Balance Piston, P/N 250-029 is obsolete and will no longer be used in the Main Tube Assembly P/N 205-030.
Change to the Main Tube Assembly: The obsolete P/N 250-029 is replaced by the two parts below.
• The Balance Spacer P/N 550-549 is brown in color.
• Washer P/N 250-065 must be used when using the new color, brown Balance Spacer in the Balanced SCUBA regulator. (Washer NOT to be used with the original dark grey P/N 250-029)
Reminder: Change-out to the current parts is not necessary. There is no upgrade to perform.
