Naylor Association Solutions Takes the Helm for Exhibit Sales at  Underwater Intervention 2017

Naylor Association Solutions, the leading provider of member engagement and revenue solutions for the North American association marketplace, will provide exhibit sales and logistics for Underwater Intervention (UI), the premier industry conference and exhibition for commercial divers and contractors in North America happening Feb. 21-23, 2017.
"Considering Naylor’s excellent track record of offering quality exhibit opportunities for companies of all sizes and budgets, UI is excited to hand exhibit sales from our in-house team to Naylor with the confident anticipation of expanded and improved exhibit opportunities at our annual exhibition this February," said Chuck Richards, UI co-chair and Marine Technology Society ROV committee chairman.

"We are also sure of Naylor’s ability to research the commercial diving market’s needs and provide an in-demand variety of exhibitors from the submersible, salvage, robotics, and deck systems subcategories that will appeal to the professional development interests of our attendees," Richards continued.

Now in its 25th year, Underwater Intervention attracts thousands of commercial divers, contractors, engineers and safety professionals who converge on New Orleans for a few days of exchanging ideas, demonstrating new technology and supplies, and generating attention for a highly precise and sought-after line of work that is integral to construction, communications, academic research, transportation, and commercial fishing, among other industries.

"Naylor Event Solutions has extensive experience strengthening the events capabilities and generating more non-dues revenue for trade and professional associations in more than 110 industries," said John Gallagher, group vice president for Naylor Associations Solutions.

"We have enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship with ADCI and MTS for many years as their provider of communication, event, and career development resources," he said. "We’re honored to help elevate their UI show floor to the next level of exhibitor service and attendee satisfaction. UI 2017 will be an exhibit that commercial divers and the companies that serve them cannot miss."
Underwater Intervention is a not-for-profit industry conference and exhibition, jointly owned by the Association of Diving Contractors International and the ROV (remotely operated vehicle) Committee of the Marine Technology Society.  Until the early 1990’s, these two non-profit, professional organizations hosted separate conferences. Underwater Intervention has grown to encompass more industries in addition to commercial diving and ROVs. The show now includes sessions devoted to learning more about manned submersibles, instruments and sensors, sonar and acoustics, ocean engineering, marine salvage and shipwrecks, and AUV/UUV technology.

Gallagher said preparations for opening sales to the exhibit floor are already underway, and past exhibitors can expect to be contacted about next year’s show this summer. Any company interested in exhibiting is encouraged to contact Dave Petrillo at dpetrillo@naylor.com.

Underwater intervention takes place Feb. 21-23, 2017 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

About Underwater Intervention
Underwater Intervention is a not-for-profit industry conference and exhibition, jointly owned by the Association of Diving Contractors International and the ROV Committee of the Marine Technology Society.  Until the early 1990’s, these two non-profit, professional organizations hosted separate conferences – ROV Intervention and the Diving Symposium.  The increased common ground between the commercial diving and ROV (remotely operated vehicles) industries created an atmosphere ripe for a merger of the two conferences.  In 1993, the first Underwater Intervention was hosted in San Diego, California.  Now, 25 years later, Underwater Intervention has grown to encompass more industries in addition to Commercial Diving and Remotely Operated Vehicles.  We now include Manned Submersibles, Instruments and Sensors, Sonar and Acoustics, Ocean Engineering, Marine Salvage and Shipwrecks, AUV and UUV Technology.

This Information was sent to further the communication of all industry stakeholders. Safety is the primary concern of the ADCI. Remember: a real-time Job Hazard Analysis is important, but nothing can replace good common sense.
