Due to the suspension of the General Assembly’s 2020 legislative session, many questions relating to salary calculations remain unknown. Although ACCG intends to publish its annual salary guide, it's important to note that questions concerning January 1, 2021 salary and compensation will not be answered until the 2020 General Assembly reconvenes, finalizes the FY2021 Budget, and adjourns prior to the end of June.

Georgia DOT partners with the Federal Highway Administration in facilitating and providing an opportunity for local governments to pursue non-traditional transportation related activities such as pedestrian facilities, bicycle facilities, and pedestrian streetscaping projects. The TAP call for projects is limited to areas of the state with populations less than or equal to 200,000. The deadline for applications is July 31, 2020.

The 2020-2021 funding cycle for the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program will open August 1, 2020. In June, Department of Natural Resources Grants staff will conduct webinar-based Educational Workshops, covering the highlights of the program and offering training on the application process.
