As fall approaches, the Georgia Forestry Commission (GFC) marks October with two weeks that highlight the benefits of Georgia’s forests: Fire Prevention Week and Forest Products Week. Fire Prevention Week will take place Oct. 6-13, while Forest Products Week will take place Oct. 20-26.
