State law requires that counties annually submit three immigration reports--the Public Benefits/SAVE Report, the E-Verify Public Contractor Report and the Business License/Private Employer Report in order to stay in compliance with Georgia’s immigration requirements. Failure to submit these reports in a timely manner may result in loss of qualified local government status among other penalties.

Each semester, the association hires interns to assist policy, legal and communications staff with various projects. Over the course of their internship through December, each intern will be given the opportunity to attend policy meetings, interact with ACCG staff and learn about county government issues.
