ACCG is currently seeking counties to participate in the summer semester of the Georgia County Internship Program (GCIP). Many college and graduate students are looking for internships to gain experience in a certain field or to satisfy academic requirements for their degree program. Three regional sessions are planned to help counties understand the underlying causes of health insurance premium increases and to provide strategies to hold down future increases. Workshops will be held March 13 in Tift County, March 14 in Bulloch County and March 15 in Hall County.

The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) has announced their Request for Proposals (RFP) process for Federal Fiscal Year 2013 . GOHS is seeking innovative programs to address highway safety problems. The RFP dates are February 28 – April 13, 2012.
