The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) is opening two State Revolving Fund call for project periods this year. The 2022 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Supplemental Funding and the 2023 CWSRF and DWSRF Annual Base Funding call for projects.
  
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) recently announced the Recycling, Waste Reduction, and Diversion (RWD) Grant. The RWD Grant will provide financial support to projects that reduce solid waste, recover valuable materials, support manufacturing, and encourage innovation.
  
The Georgia Forestry Commision is reminding counties of several resources available for communities seeking to protect their lands. Learn more about the Community Wildfire Defense Grants, the ReLeaf Program, and the Arbor Day Foundation to discover how your community can protect and preserve Georgia's forests.
  
The Bring One for the Chipper program is encouraging counties to help aid their mission in collecting Christmas trees and recycling them into mulch or fuel, transforming them into fish or wildlife habitats, or utilizing other appropriate reuse methods. The Georgia Tank & Environmental Contractors Association (GTEC) is hosting a series of seminars on Underground Storage Tanks (USTs). GTEC, with the assistance of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD), offers this seminar to keep UST Owners/Operators up to date on changes in the regulations on USTs and also on any new technologies available.

The National Association of Counties (NACo) has released several new resources for counties to access. From Operation Green Light for Veterans to NACo’s Inflation Reduction Act implementation analysis, these resources are available to aid counties in their efforts.
