SWTF FY26 GRANT PROGRAM

The Solid Waste Trust Fund (SWTF) Grant Program supports projects that reduce waste, abate and recycle scrap tires, and support statewide recycling initiatives. The grant program features three separate pathways: The Recycling and Waste Diversion (RWD) Grant, the Tire Products (Tire) Grant, and the Scrap Tire Abatement Reimbursement (STAR) Grant. The next grant cycle RWD and Tire will begin accepting applications on August 2025. Eligible entities include cities, counties, public authorities, agencies, commissions, and institutions. The STAR Grant is non-competitive and open year round, providing up to $75,000 in funding for each eligible applicant per state fiscal year.
