ACCG Civic Affairs Foundation Awards Grant Funding to 26 Counties for Summer Internships

The ACCG Civic Affairs Foundation has awarded 40 internship grants to 26 counties across the state for the 2019 Georgia County Internship Program (GCIP).  The GCIP offers first-hand internship experiences to undergraduate and graduate level college students in county government. Each summer, internships are offered across a broad spectrum of academic disciplines ranging from accounting to wildlife sciences in county government offices throughout the state. To date, over 400 students have filled internship positions in more than 75 counties throughout the state.
