Rich Wright is the Director of Advanced Technology & Innovation for the Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems Business Area, a $12B business. He leads an organization responsible for the development and implementation of the business technical strategy and the associated technology investments. Rich is also responsible the Business Area Technical Fellows. He is responsible for extending technology and business partnerships across Lockheed Martin, the DoD, the Commercial and Aerospace Industries, and Academia. Rich believes that by having a forward leaning strategy, implemented through relentless collaboration, you will deliver a quickening of extraordinary innovation."
Prior to this responsibility, Rich had successfully performed in various executive roles. Most recently delivering engineering solutions and services to the DoD in several countries within South West Asia, providing SATCOM, IT provisioning, C4ISR, Cyber Security, Air Traffic and Battle Management, and logistics support. He had also led the Engineering division of Lockheed Martin's Commercial line of business, and delivered mission systems to the USCG, the FBI, and various organizations within the Intel Community.
Rich reports to the VP of Engineering & Technology, is a member of the Lockheed Martin Corporate Engineering Technology Council, and on the Board of Directors for a biometrics company.
