Home Hardware Appoints Director of Merchandise Hardlines

 

Home Hardware Stores Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Szekszer to Home Hardware’s Merchandise Hardlines team, effective immediately. Rob joined Home Hardware as the Director of Merchandise Hardlines on September 16, and will report directly to Joel Marks, Vice-President of Merchandise Hardlines.

Rob will be responsible for leading the management teams in Electrical, Appliances, HVAC / Automotive, General Merchandise (Toys, Confectionary, Farm, Pet, Apparel and Wild Bird). He is one of three Merchandise Hardlines Directors – Brian Straus and Dave Martin are Directors as well.

Rob is a proven strategic leader that drives results and will empower and energize talent. His former employer was Canadian Tire where he held numerous roles in Financial Services, Merchandising as well as Advertising. He is a graduate of the University of Western, Ontario.
