'Next-Generation' Intestinal Organoid Created

Scientists at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center have built a complex intestinal organoid. The organoid has elements of a functioning immune system and the immune cells help the intestine improve by helping it to recognize foreign antigens.
