AATB Announces Formation of 501(c)(6) Organization the Association for Advancing Tissue and Biologics
In 2024, the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) underwent a comprehensive strategic planning process that identified the need to strengthen and protect our association’s ability to engage in advocacy, policy, and industry promotion. Following legal counsel’s advice and in alignment with IRS compliance requirements, the Board of Governors prioritized the establishment of a separate 501(c)(6) organization.
