AATB and TPG Submit Comments to OMB on Deregulation
AATB and the AATB Tissue Policy Group (TPG) have submitted comments in response to the Office of Management and Budget’s request for information on ideas for deregulation. In particular, AATB recommended OMB reexamine regulations pertaining to the summary of records for 361 HCT/Ps. Changing summary of records requirements would improve patient safety, ensure key data is available to practitioners, and reduce the risk of certain information being detached from the HCT/P. AATB’s full response can be found on the Government Advocacy Correspondences page of the AATB website.
