Port of Greater Baton Rouge
The Government of Canada is contributing funding for new technology development at the Port of Halifax. With larger ships accessing the harbor, the port authority sees a need to continuously monitor vessel clearances under each of the harbor bridges. The upgrading and enhancing of the bridge air gap system will enable the port to precisely measure the ship clearance.

The Virginia Port Authority (VPA) reports container throughput at its Hampton Roads maritime terminals grew in March for the third straight month, up 7.9 percent from a year ago to 169,390 TEUs, with increases of 3.1 percent and 13.1 percent, respectively, for exports and imports.
