The Port of Los Angeles is moving forward with a major rail project that will optimize on-dock rail operations and improve the flow of cargo throughout the nation’s busiest harbor complex. Port of Oakland, Lineage Logistics, LLC and Dreisbach Enterprises have announced the official opening of Lineage Cool Port Oakland (“Cool Port”), the world’s latest next-generation cold storage and logistics facility.

Port NOLA promoted roadway safety as part of its Truck Driver Appreciation Week celebration. TDAW was held Oct. 30 – Nov. 2 to honor all professional truck drivers who service Port NOLA for their hard work and commitment in tackling one of our economy’s most demanding and vital jobs. Port of Bellingham signed a new service contract with Ports America to facilitate the regular arrival of global cargo vessels at its Bellingham Shipping Terminal. The three-year deal has options for two additional three-year service contracts.

Port Everglades reached a record high in containerized cargo this past fiscal year with 1,108,465 TEUs moving through the port. Port Houston’s container volume remained vigorous as cargo movement continues to lead last year’s pace, showing a 10 percent growth through the third quarter.
