Louisiana International Deep Water Gulf Transfer Terminal (LIGTT) is envisioned as a deep-water transfer terminal designed to accommodate post-Panamax and Cape size vessels. To be located east of the mouth of the Mississippi River, the terminal would be equipped to handle bulk cargo, petroleum products, and containers. The 2,238-acre site, with depths up to 108 feet, is owned by the State of Louisiana.
