AAPA Invites Applications for the PPM® Class of 2019

AAPA‘s Professional Port Manager (PPM®) program is now open to applications for admission to the Class of 2019. To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must hold (or will have held) a full-time management position with a public port authority, port agency or a maritime-related organization for at least five years prior to receiving the AAPA PPM® designation.

The application process requires the submission of a completed application form, letter of endorsement or sponsorship from the candidate’s chief executive officer, a current curriculum vitae, a current job description, and an essay describing the candidate’s unique qualifications for the program to AAPA headquarters no later than March 1, 2015 and preferably in electronic format. Applicants will be reviewed, evaluated, and selected for enrollment in the program by the AAPA Curriculum Committee. The Class of 2019 will convene for the first time at the AAPA Executive Management Conference, May 4-8, 2015, in San Diego (CA).
