The Jacksonville Port Authority’s board of directors earlier this month elected officers for FY 2014.

JAXPORT Board of Directors Elects Officers

The board of directors of the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) selected officers during its board meeting of December 11. Joe York, vice president, legislative and regulatory affairs for AT&T Florida, will continue his term as board chairman through July 2014. The other officers are:

• Vice Chairman: John J. Falconetti 
• Treasurer: Dr. John Allen Newman 
• Secretary: Robert F. Spohrer 

Mr. Falconetti is president of Drummond Press. Dr. Newman is senior pastor at The Sanctuary at Mt. Calvary. Mr. Spohrer is president at Spohrer & Dodd.

Each fiscal year, and as needed, JAXPORT’s board elects officers from its membership. Officers typically serve one-year terms.

The other JAXPORT’s board members are retired real estate management professional James P. Citrano and Nancy Soderberg, president and CEO of Soderberg Solutions.
