Hugh W. McConnell, director of operations for the Port of Caddo-Bossier in Shreveport, La., has completed AAPA's Professional Port Manager (PPM®) program. Mr. McConnell is the third from his port and the 88th candidate to be certified since the program’s inception in 1995. His PPM® paper, "Port Operations: A Tool for Economic Development – A Case Study of Port Operations," is available on the AAPA website for free downloading by members and for purchase by non-members.
