St. Bernard Port Official Earns PPM® Certification

Drew Heaphy, director of administration for the St. Bernard Port, Harbor and Terminal District, in Chalmette, La., has completed AAPA's Professional Port Manager (PPM®) program. Mr. Heaphy is the first from his port and the 87th candidate to be certified since the program’s inception in 1995. His PPM® paper, The Louisiana Port Construction and Development Program and the Affects of the Program on the Port of St. Bernard, is posted on the AAPA website, where it is free for downloading by members and available for purchase by non-members.
