  • Puerto Chiapas is one of the federal ports on Mexico's southern Pacific border, specializing in the movement of bulk products especially fertilizers, titanium and food stuffs.

  • Cartagena is an important Colombian port on the country's northern Caribbean coast and able to move general cargoes and Post-Panamax containers with a capacity of up to 1,200,000 TEUs. It also has the ability, through its Canal del Dique, to move cargo through the Río Magdalena, Colombia's principal inland waterway.
