Grays Harbor: Randy Lewis Named Director of Environmental and Engineering Services

Randy Lewis is joining the senior management team of the Port of Grays Harbor as director of environmental and engineering services.

During his 16 years as s Westport administrator, Mr. Lewis supervised  and managed all city’s departments while also serving as public works director, SEPA official, and shorelines administrator. He came to the city after retiring from the U.S. Coast Guard.

At the port, he will be responsible for environmental assessment and compliance, overseeing facility and infrastructure planning and improvement projects, and collaborating with port staff and customers on development plans. His first day on the job will be March 16.

"We are confident Randy’s experience at the city of Westport will allow him to hit the ground running in his new position with the port" said Executive Director Gary Nelson. "Our experience in working with Randy at the city has always been positive and productive. He will be a great addition to the port and his experience will be an asset to the management team."
