The AAPA Information Technology Committee will meet October 1-2 in Philadelphia (PA), and Committee Chair April Danos of Port Fourchon invites all ports to send a representative to participate. Hosted by the Maritime Exchange for the Delaware River and Bay, the fall meeting will update attendees on developments in cybersecurity and provide participants the opportunity to share information and best practices about port IT operations and strategic planning. A draft agenda for the meeting is available on the committee website, with the first day of the meeting reserved for corporate (port) members. To RSVP for the meeting, email committee liaison Meredith Martino. There is no registration fee to attend.

AAPA technical committees play a critical role in the activities of the association. They help the association set policy, develop new programs, and can serve as a valuable resource to AAPA members. Technical committees can include individuals from all membership categories, and membership on AAPA technical committees is open to all AAPA members.
