J. David Anderton II, assistant director, strategic planning and development, at Port Everglades, and Larry A. Kelley Jr., deputy port director at the Port of Port Arthur, have completed AAPA's Professional Port Manager (PPM®) program. They bring to 94 the number of certifications granted since the program’s inception in 1995.

Mr. Anderton’s PPM® paper "Improving Seaport/Airport Connectivity" is based on a case study of Port Everglades and Ft.-Lauderdale-Hollywood (FL) International Airport. Mr. Kelley’s discusses the "Valuation of Public Ports" from a community and public policy perspective. Both are available on the AAPA website free for downloading by members.
