‘Business Day with Terry Bradshaw’ to Broadcast Port Segment Showcasing New Orleans Expansion Projects

The Port of New Orleans is currently featured in a five-minute segment on "Business Day with Terry Bradshaw."

The program, hosted by National Football League Hall of Famer and Louisiana native Terry Bradshaw, showcases recent port expansion projects, such as the $40.3 million Riverfront Cold Storage Facility operated by New Orleans Cold Storage on the Henry Clay Wharf, the $20.1 million renovation of the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, the $36.4 million Napoleon Avenue Container Terminal expansion project that added two new gantry cranes and expanded the terminal’s marshalling yard, Transportation Consultants Inc.’s expanded resin-packaging facility, and the under-construction Mississippi River Intermodal Terminal.

"We are thrilled to have a Louisiana legend promoting the Port of New Orleans to a national audience," said Port President and CEO Gary LaGrange. "The port’s connectivity and logistical advantages offer shippers unparalleled advantages to the global marketplace, and we believe this program will help spread the word to existing and potential new customers in the markets we serve."

The program is being broadcast in 25 strategic television markets around the nation and on the Discovery Channel nationally.

Business Day TV features businesses around the country and the industrious people who run them. Bradshaw is the host and narrator of the program. Well known for his skills on the football field, he is equally known for his down-to-earth and engaging manner of honest commentary.

The program covers all aspects of business and industry and airs on national and regional cable networks.
