Personnel: Freeport

Port Freeport’s Jason Hull has been promoted to the position of Director of Engineering at the recommendation of Executive Director and CEO Glenn Carlson and with the unanimous approval of the port commission. "Jason has demonstrated his value to the organization during the last two years through the application of his skills and knowledge, especially during the handling of the Berth 7 repairs and reconstruction," said Mr. Carlson. 

Mr. Hull is a licensed professional engineer and has been designing civil, structural and electrical projects since 1998. As director of engineering, he is responsible for the design and construction of the port’s capital and maintenance projects, including buildings, rail, roadway/paving, drainage and utilities. His responsibilities also include estimating costs and schedules of port projects and managing department personnel needs.
