KEANS (KOVA Emergency Alert Notification System) simultaneously alerts police, fire, Homeland Security, Coast Guard, maintenance and others about developing conditions as announced by the control towers. KEANS relays and repeats communications to all parties via public address systems, prompting first responders to react before formal requests have been made, expediting response time to an emergency.
