With just three months to go before opening ceremonies at the XXII Latin American Congress of Ports of AAPA in Bogotá, Colombia, the organizing committee is experiencing tremendous interest in this year’s event by leaders of the global ports and maritime industry. The objectives of the Congress are to provide excellence in academic content within the Congress’ general theme – The Integration of Latin American Ports with the World in the Era of Free Trade Agreements and Common Markets – and excellence in the overall activities to be offered during the three days in Bogotá. The roster of speakers will include well-known international experts and industry leaders. A wide range of social activities is planned, among them a series of optional pre- and post-Congress tours, including trips to Cartagena, the Amazonian jungle and the Coffee Triangle.

Attendance at AAPA’s Latin American Congresses has grown during the last four years; we’re expecting more than 350 registrants in Bogotá. If you are interested in exhibiting or sponsoring any of the events, it is highly recommended that you get in touch with the organizing committee as soon as possible since opportunities are limited.
