Saint John Sees Hefty February Traffic Gains in February

Port Saint John in February racked up a second consecutive month of significant tonnage gains in nearly all sectors of port traffic. Specifically:
- Liquid bulk: up 4 percent from February 2012 to 4,679,667 metric tons
- Dry bulk: up 134 percent to 221,048 tons
- Containerized cargo: up 64 percent to 70,737 tons
- Containers: up 40 percent to 10,473 TEUs
- Vessels calls: up 12 percent, from 110 to 123
