S&P Global Ratings: Request for Comments: U.S. and Canadian Not-For-Profit Transportation
AAPA Sustaining member S&P Global Ratings is requesting comments on proposed criteria for U.S. and Canadian Not-For-Profit Transportation Infrastructure Enterprises.
The proposed changes would consolidate the S&P’s criteria for ports, airports, special facilities, passenger facility charges, toll roads and bridges, and parking revenue bonds with the intention of:

The proposed changes would consolidate the S&P’s criteria for ports, airports, special facilities, passenger facility charges, toll roads and bridges, and parking revenue bonds with the intention of:
- Providing additional transparency to help market participants better understand our approach to assigning ratings
- Enhancing the forward-looking nature of these ratings
- Enabling better comparison between these ratings and ratings in other sectors
