Vancouver Fraser Port Authority Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Victor Pang

The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority has selected Victor Pang to succeed Allan Baydala as chief financial officer. Mr. Baydala, the port’s CFO since 2008, announced earlier this year his intention to retire at the end of 2016.

"Victor Pang is an outstanding candidate for this position and I am confident his depth of experience will help drive the continued growth and expansion of the port," said Port Authority Chief Executive Officer Robin Silvester. "Victor has a tremendous background, holding leadership positions with responsibility for finance, strategic planning, and operations. He will be an integral part of our executive team and continue the legacy of strong financial leadership for the port authority."

Mr. Pang comes to Vancouver Fraser Port Authority after seven years with Vancouver-based CHC Helicopters, most recently serving as vice president of financial planning and analysis and corporate development. He holds both a Certified Professional Accountant designation and a law degree.

He began work at the port on November 28.
