IAPH Women’s Forum Scholarship

The International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) Women’s Forum is offering two scholarship opportunities.

The Women’s Forum Biennial Training Scholarship provides supplemental tuition amounting to US$15,000 for two years for a port or maritime-related course at a college, university or "other similarly-related purpose port-related training institutions." The recipient must attend, and make an original presentation at, the IAPH Biennial World Ports Conference in the second year. The scholarship includes travelling expenses to attend the IAPH Biennial World Ports Conference. Applicants must be female employees of any regular port members of IAPH.  

The Women’s Forum Annual Meeting Scholarship provides a maximum of US$5,000 for attendance to make an original presentation at the Women’s Forum panel either at the IAPH Mid-term Conference or the Biennial World Ports Conference. Applicant must be female employees of any regular members of IAPH (below the senior management level).

The application period extends from November 13, 2015 to February 12, 2016.  Awards will be announced in mid-March 2016.
