AAHOACON Day 3 overview

If you were anywhere near Power Plant Live! for our AAHOA Block Party last night, you might be dragging just a tiny bit this morning. What an evening! Judging by the elated expressions on nearly every face we saw, the night was a resounding success.

Today, however, we turn our attention back to education, Trade Show activity, networking, and so much more.

Get your coffee and fuel up with breakfast being served in the registration area, then head over to General Session for a jam-packed agenda that starts promptly at 8:15 a.m.

From the candidate speeches to the Secretary debate, to special guest appearances, and more, today's General Session is not to be missed.

Our highly anticipated keynote speaker, Jay Shetty, will grace the General Session stage today to share how he’s hard at work to make wisdom go viral. An award-winning storyteller, podcaster, and former monk, Jay was named to Forbes Europe’s 30 Under 30 list and is also the creator of Genius Coaching, a coaching group that aims to help people find purpose through self-awareness.

Jay is also the author of “Think Like a Monk: Train Your Mind for Peace and Purpose Every Day,” which reached the top of the best-seller lists in the U.S., the U.K., and India.

Make plans to join us in Ballrooms 314-317 at 11:30 a.m. for the always-exciting Women Hoteliers Session and Luncheon. This year’s Women Hoteliers Session and Luncheon will feature guest speaker and renowned fighter pilot Heather “Lucky” Penney

Most widely recognized for her service on September 11, Penney was part of the first wave of women who went directly into fighters from pilot training. The first and only woman in the 121st Fighter Squadron, Penney deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom for initial combat operations as a nighttime SCUD Hunter in the western deserts of Iraq, also supporting Special Operations Forces.

This will be a one-of-a-kind session with a true pioneer and is not to be missed.
