SunTrust Robinson Humphrey reports, “Luxury (+4.8%) was the strongest chain scale for branded hotels; Upper Midscale was the weakest at +1.7%. Midscale (+2.9%) also underperformed the industry average. Last week's results reflected a sequential improvement in RevPAR vs. the prior week although results were still double-digit negative in Houston and Miami. The majority of the RevPAR gains last week in most markets and chain scales were ADR driven.” For more, read the full report.
