AAHOA announces new CHIA graduates

AAHOA’s First-Ever CHIA Yields 50 New Graduates 

Following the conclusion of its most successful and best-attended convention in history, AAHOA is pleased to announce the certification of 50 hotelier-members.

The Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) is offered globally through a joint effort between STR, AHLEI, and ICHRIE and is the hotel industry’s only analytics-focused certification. The program curriculum has a four-sided core composed of hotel industry analytical foundations, hotel math fundamentals, property level benchmarking, and hotel industry performance reports.

The 2017 AAHOA Convention & Trade Show, held April 11-14 in San Antonio, was the first in AAHOA’s history to offer the coveted designation. Registration was limited and filled quickly. On April 11, registrants attended an all-day review, then took the qualifying exam the next day. Fifty attendees passed the exam and earned their CHIA designation.
