It’s everything an independent hotelier needs - all in one show - and it’s coming to Atlantic City on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

AAHOA’s Independent Hoteliers Conference (IHC) is a can’t-miss, once-a-year opportunity for independent and boutique hotel owners to learn from industry experts, network with fellow non-franchised hoteliers, and make exclusive deals at the conference trade show.

This year, AAHOA is bringing together top thought leaders from government, energy, law, marketing, and human resources to add unparalleled value to the IHC experience.

Keynote speaker Chris Malone, award-winning author and managing partner of Fidelum Partners, will speak on "The HUMAN Brand: How We Related to People, Products & Companies,"  sharing with attendees his unique insights gleaned from a decades-long career with megabrands like Choice Hotels, ARAMARK, Coca-Cola, the NBA, and Procter & Gamble. He will discuss how the way we judge, perceive, and relate to one another influences our behavior toward companies and how you can use that information to build loyalty among guests to your own hotel.

Mr. Malone will be followed by a power-packed discussion panel titled "4 Easy Ways to Save You Money." Moderated by Today’s Hotelier magazine Managing Editor Heather Williams, the panel will featured Andrew Mitchell of the U.S. Dept. of Energy’s Better Buildings Initiative; Nic Jones of SkyTouch Technology; Jennifer Jacobus, Esq., of Jacobus & Associates; and Chris Rockett of Milestone Internet Marketing. Panel topics include energy efficiency, OTA rate management, property tax reassessment, and technology.

Finally, Scarinci & Hollenbeck partner Gary S. Young will speak on "HR Pitfalls: Common Employment Law Mistakes to Avoid," rounding out a full afternoon of exclusive updates and industry education.

In the evening, attendees will be treated to dinner and entertainment provided by Samson Koletkar - also known as "Mahatma Moses" - the world’s only Indian-Jewish comedian!

We hope to see you on Oct. 25 in Atlantic City for a day tailor-made for independent hoteliers. Click here to register!
