Yesterday’s letter to President Trump: On April 22, AAFA co-signed a multi-association letter to President Trump outlining priorities for a China trade deal. The full letter from the Americans for Free Trade coalition explains our collective hope that the ongoing negotiations will lead to a final deal in the coming weeks to reset U.S.-China trade relations. The letter explains five specific outcomes that are essential to the diverse industries, businesses and workers our coalition represents.
 
A busy week ahead in Washington: AAFA will host the Government Relations Spring Committee Meeting for AAFA members at the office of Hogan Lovells in Washington. Last week at the #AmericanImageAwards: On Monday, April 15 at The Plaza Hotel in NYC, AAFA hosted the AAFA American Image Awards honoring leaders, influencers, and innovators in celebration of fashion’s future. The red carpet buzzed with stars, fashion executives, and designers recognizing the night’s honorees and supporting our partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Foundation.
