What's Going On
The WRLA Terry Yates Memorial Golf Tournament will be held once again at the Links at Quarry Oaks in Steinbach, MB on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. This tournament is well attended with 212 building suppliers and retailers from across the prairies. Online registration is now available!
Next in line is the 7th Annual WRLA Calgary Classic which takes place at the Sundre Golf Course in Alberta on September 6, 2012. A Mill Tour is available prior to the Golf Tournament at West Fraser Treated at 9:30am in Sundre. Registration and sponsor forms are now available by following the link below.
Cap off the season in Kenosee at the WRLA Kenosee Golf Tournament on September 12, 2012. Register as a single or group and don’t miss the fun.

All stores that completed the survey entirely will receive a free digital copy (sent to the email provided during the completion of the survey).
Any members who wish to purchase a copy of the survey for $99 (plus applicable taxes) can do so by emailing the WRLA office at wrla@wrla.org or 204-953-1690. Once payment is accepted you will be emailed a digital copy of the results.

(WINNIPEG, Manitoba) June 18, 2012 – ENERGY STAR, the symbol of energy efficiency, has named JELD‐WEN Windows and Doors as the 2012 Manufacturer of the Year in the Fenestration Product category.
ENERGY STAR recognizes organizations that are the best performing and most committed to the progression of energy efficiency. JELD‐WEN of Canada has won ENERGY STAR Recognition Awards previously – the Sustained Excellence Award in 2010 and the Participant of the Year in 2009.
"Improving the energy savings offered by our products is an integral part of JELD‐WEN’s environmental culture. Our active involvement in the ENERGY STAR program and our sustained efforts in the promotion and protection of the program bear witness to our constant commitment to offering consistently superior products in terms of energy efficiency" says Lou Valeriati, Vice President of JELD‐WEN Windows and Doors.
To celebrate their 2012 ENERGY STAR Manufacturer of the Year Award, JELD‐WEN is planning to make a donation to the David Suzuki Foundation for each unique visitor to the www.en.jeldwen.ca/energystar/ website for the entire month of June. Upon conclusion, JELD‐WEN hopes to donate up to $5,000 to the foundation.
In addition to the real‐world energy efficiency offered by their products, JELD‐WEN boasts effective online resources like a climate zone energy savings calculator and in‐depth blog articles. These tools help the organization extend valuable information pertaining to energy efficiency via social media and various micro sites
