A local car wash mogul has added one more in Lafayette to his stable. Dave Mote has reopened the former Rainforest Car Wash near Tippecanoe Mall as Pop-N-Wash, a gated car wash concept that Mote said is winning over his customers.

Splash & Dash Car Wash will be giving away free car washes over the course of the three weekends. "The car wash is not charging for washes so the customers can come in and donate to their local high schools," said Splash & Dash manager Daniel Arias.
