The Daily Report's Annual '40 Under 40: Legal Rising Stars to Watch' was published this week, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association is proud to have 10 members in this year's class. Even though our Association makes up a relatively small percentage of all practicing attorneys in Georgia, the fact that we make up 25 percent of the 'Rising Stars' speaks volumes about the exceptional quality and quickly-accumulating legal accomplishments of our membership.

Congratulations to the following GTLA members who were chosen for this year's '40 Under 40' class:

Rebecca C. Franklin, Franklin Law
Andrew Goldner, Law Offices of Andrew E. Goldner
Alan Hamilton, Shiver Hamilton
Caroline W. Herrington, Adams, Jordan & Herrington
Jennifer Auer Jordan, The Jordan Firm
R. Cade Parian, The Parian Law Firm
Brandon L. Peak, Butler Wooten Cheeley & Peak
Parag Shah, Shah Law Firm
Amna R. Shirazi, Shirazi Law Group

Please join us in congratulating these members on this outstanding accomplishment and well-deserved recognition!

GRASSROOTS REPORT
This week, members of the Macon Trial Lawyers Association presented Life Center Church Pastor Trey Jones with a check for $1,500 for the gifted/indigent student fund at Rosa Taylor Elementary school in Macon. The fund is used by educators to assist students from economically challenged families with school supplies and food. MTLA gives donations to charities throughout the year, and their efforts have made a tremendous impact on the local community. Past donations have included gifts to Leadership Macon Annual Projects, Habitat For Humanity and The Children's Museum. Kudos to Macon TLA for their commitment to serving the community!
