Former Director and Secretary of the AOC Red Baron Roost Guenther Klement passed away on February 3 at age 88. An engineer at Rohde & Schwarz throughout his career, he joined AOC in 1974 as a founding member of Germany's Red Baron Roost. Most recently, he contributed an article about the chapter's history to AOC's 50th anniversary commemorative book. He attended local events until recently, including AOC Europe 2024 in Bonn, Germany. Important Security, FVR, and Base Deadlines: Base Access Form (SECNAV 5512) and Foreign Visit Request deadlines have now passed for all Australian and United Kingdom attendees and all US attendees who do not have a CAC Card. Visitors without base access must meet at the Visitor Center (outside of the Mugu Road gate) to be shuttled on. Requests for Security Clearance – required for all US attendees – are due February 26. Learn more about security requirements for Collaborative EW 2026.

The AOC Minnesota Chapter held a technical seminar on January 21, with a presentation by Boon Logic CTO Brian Turnquist on advanced radar pulse deinterleaving techniques. Twenty-five people attended the evening event, including one dedicated participant who traveled four hours in a blizzard!
