Education Opportunities
This year marks the 61st year for the West Virginia Ted Harriman Forest Industries Camp. The camp is scheduled for July 17-July 23, 2016, at Camp Mahonegan, Ellamore, West Virginia.

The camp provides the opportunity for young people (age limit: as of July 23, 2016, over 15 and less than 20 years of age) to understand the value of multiple-use management of West Virginia’s forests and also become aware of career opportunities in forestry. A partnership between WVFA members and several state agencies provides the instruction and supervision for the camp. Alan Miller, a member of WVFA, serves as director of the camp.

The Forest Industries Camp scholarship cost this year is $100. We invite you - as we do every year, at this time - to provide one or more scholarships for the 61st West Virginia Ted Harriman Forest Industries Camp. Your scholarship check can translate into a better understanding for forest resource management and use. Please send your check to our office using the attached form.
